The VTech^® Canada’s Best Summer Ever Action Cam Giveaway (“Promotion”) starts on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 11:59 PM PST (“Promotion Period”). All entries must be received prior to the end of the entry period.

ELIGIBILITY: PROMOTION IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF CANADA(with the exception of residents of Quebec), WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, WHO ARE THE PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN OF A CHILD BORN ON OR BEFORE 1/02/2016 AND DEPICTED IN THE ENTRY PHOTO OR VIDEO. Employees of VTech^® Technologies Canada Limited (“Sponsor”), Facebook and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies and members of their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of such employees, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter. By entering this Promotion, you understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Facebook or Twitter.

HOW TO ENTER: During contest period go to the VTech^® Facebook page, at https://www.facebook.com/vtechtoyscanada/ and follow the instructions to enter the giveaway. Child must be born on or before 1/02/2016. Photos and/or videos may not contain third party trademarks, names or logos, profanity, obscenity or objectionable content of any kind. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entry violating these guidelines. You must accept/allow the website prompt, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes in order to enter. Limit one (1) entry per person and per eligible child. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM PST on August 14, 2016 to be considered. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or practices and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. A valid email address or an account with Facebook is required to enter and can be opened for free at http://www.facebook.com. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

DRAWING: Four (4) potential winners will be selected in random drawings from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period and include four (4) prizes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified e-mail or by social outreach (Facebook). If any e-mail or social media message (Facebook) to a potential winner is undeliverable, any email or social media account provided by a potential winner is incorrect or no longer in service, a response to any given e-mail or social outreach is not received within three (3) business days of date of its issuance or any potential winner does not comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. Potential winners may be required, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release and, where legal, a publicity release within fourteen (14) days of date of issuance of those documents or prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. If any potential winner doesn’t comply with these Official Rules or prize notification is undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.

PRIZE: Four (4) Winners will be selected over a Fourteen (14) day period. Four (4) Winners in total over a fourteen (14) day period. Each winner will receive one (1) VTech^® Kidizoom Action Cam prize per day of selection. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all four prizes is 279.96 CAD (total). Each individual prize has an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of 69.99 CAD or less.

All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Sponsor will do it’s best to accommodate color section for each winner, but preferred color is not guaranteed. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Any and all federal, state and local taxes on the prize, and any other costs, fees, and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not explicitly stated herein as being awarded, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Please allow 4-6 weeks for Prize fulfillment. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY WILL BE RECEIVED BY 10/31/2016.

GENERAL: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final in all respects relating to this Promotion; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Facebook and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, photograph/video, image and/or likeness of any minor depicted in the Entry, for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, including social and digital properties, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so.

Additionally, VTech will use the email addresses provided by the entrant to request opt in for VTech marketing communications.

Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, undeliverable, destroyed, garbled or stolen entries or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether typographical, human mechanical, electronic, computer, network, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the posting of questions, the processing of answers, entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Promotion-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading materials from or use of the website. Sponsor may disqualify anyone from participating in the Promotion or winning a prize (and void all associated entries) if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such person is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor’s representatives. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend any portion of the Promotion for any reason, including should any cause corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion and, in the event of termination, to determine the winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to such time of such action.
